Refund Policy
Digital products
All products sold by Chic but Salty are digital crochet patterns supplied as PDF files. No physical product will be shipped.
Due to the digital nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once the PDF file has been delivered or access to the download has been provided.
Before completing your purchase, please carefully review the product description, required materials, skill level, sizing information, language, and crochet terminology.
Right of withdrawal for digital content
Consumers normally have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal when purchasing online. However, this right may expire before the end of the 14-day period when:

you expressly consent to receiving the digital content immediately;

you acknowledge that the performance of the contract will begin before the withdrawal period has expired; and

you acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once access to the digital content has been provided.
By providing this express consent during checkout, you request immediate access to your digital crochet pattern and acknowledge that you lose your statutory right of withdrawal once the digital content has been made available to you.
This does not affect your statutory rights where the digital content is faulty, incomplete, incorrectly described, or otherwise not supplied in accordance with the contract.
Download access
After completing your purchase, you will receive an email containing access to your PDF crochet pattern. Each purchased pattern may be downloaded up to 10 times.
Please download the file and save a copy to your personal device. The download link is intended only for the customer who purchased the pattern and may not be shared with others.
If you experience difficulty accessing or downloading your pattern, please contact us at hello@chicbutsalty.com. We will be happy to help you access the product you purchased.
Incorrect or duplicate purchases
Please check your order carefully before completing your purchase.
If you accidentally purchase the same pattern more than once or contact us before accessing an incorrectly purchased file, please email hello@chicbutsalty.com as soon as possible. Any refund offered in these circumstances is at our discretion and does not affect your statutory rights.
Faulty or incorrect files
If you receive the wrong file, the PDF is incomplete or corrupted, or the pattern is materially different from its description, please contact us at hello@chicbutsalty.com with your order number and a description of the issue.
Where appropriate, we will provide a corrected or replacement file. If we are unable to supply a conforming version within a reasonable period, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund under applicable consumer law.
Refunds
Where a refund is required by law or otherwise approved by us, it will be issued to your original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Pattern support
Questions about understanding or following a pattern do not normally qualify for a refund. However, if you need help with one of our patterns or believe that you have found an error, please contact us at hello@chicbutsalty.com.
